Lake Harmony Fire Company was dispatched to assist Monroe County Fire District 42 for a reported vehicle smoking on Interstate 80 at the 291 west bound mile marker. Tanker 17 went en-route with 6 and arrived first on scene. The front bumper line was pulled to extinguish the vehicle which was fully involved, while the booster line was pulled to control the brush fire on the side of the highway. Engine 42’s crew assisted with mop up and traffic control. Units were on scene for 30 minutes.
