pCompanies were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at the EconoLodge on Rt. 940 Friday morning. Upon arrival of Ladder 17 the desk clerk informed the chief that the building did not have an alarm system. 1802 assumed command and ordered all rooms to be checked. As companies were leaving a cell pnoe call to the motel reported a fire at the Pocono Inn and Resort a mile down the road. After investigating it was determined that this was the actual initial alarm. Companies were in service for an hour.p
