The truck was sent out to be repainted at Micro Fire Apparatus in Allentown. The gold leaf and stripping was done by Danz Lettering. The truck is equipped with a 20 KW generator, front and rear winches, 8 bottle cascade system, light tower, and seating for 6 firefighters. Members of the Lake Harmony Fire Company are equipping the truck with an extensive amount of specialty rescue equipment. The truck should be in service by the end of March....]]>

 <![CDATA[Fire companies were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Chestnut Road in the Split Rock area of Lake Harmony Friday night. The homeowner was burning his wood stove when he went out side and noticed the outside of the chimney was on fire. Ladder 17 was first on scene and raised a ladder to the chimney. Firefighter Washington &amp;amp; 1602 removed the wood siding surrounding the flu and ran a chain down to clear the debris in the chimney. The fire was contained to the wood surrounding the chimney.
