Saturday, December 31, 2011 Lake Harmony was dispatched for a water rescue in the lake at the Brier Crest development in Monroe County. Rescue 17 responded with the boat. Once on scene it was determined that the victim was already out of the water and no rescue was needed.
Monday, December 26, 2011 Companies were dispatched to a reported fire in the chimney at the Mid Lakes development at Big Boulder. Ladder 17 was ordered to ladder the chimney of the 3 story condominium to check for extension around the chimney box. Crews removed the chimney cover and saw no evidence of extension. Inside crews removed the active fire from the fireplace. Roof crews then ran a chain down the chimney. Units were on scene for an hour.
Sunday, December 25, 2011 Lake Harmony was dispatched to establish a landing zone at the church for an incoming MedEvac helicopter. The patient was being transported from the Big Boulder Ski Area after sustaining a serious leg injury.
Sunday, December 25, 2011 Lake Harmony & Albrightsville fire companies were dispatched on the second alarm of a working dwelling fire on Old Stage Road in Toamensing Trails Sunday afternoon. A passer by reported fire coming from the chiminey area and it was spreading up the front of the house. First units on scene quickly called for a second alarm and RIT team. Tanker 17 arrived right behind the Penn Forrest units and supplied engine/rescue1255. Companies were on scene for about 3 hours.
Saturday, December 17, 2011 Ladder 17 established a landing zone for MedEvac 4 at the base of the Big Boulder Ski Area late Saturday afternoon. The patient was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital with a serious femur fracture.
Sunday, December 11, 2011 Lake Harmony was dispatched for a fully involved dwelling fire on Mountain Road in the Indian Mountain Lakes development. Tanker 17 supplied district 12's engine, while the crews from the ladder and rescue assisted at the scene. Lake Harmony was in service for two hours.
Saturday, December 10, 2011 On Saturday, Santa visited the Lake Harmony Fire Company. He arrived in style aboard Ladder 17. All of the children were able to sit on santa's lap and work on some fun crafts during the afternoon. Thanks everyone and a special THANKS to SANTA!
Friday, December 9, 2011 Fire companies responded to Hickory Run State Park for a lost person. Lake Harmony responded with Rescue 17 and the ATV. The subject was located within the hour.
Saturday, November 5, 2011 Fire companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire on Sky Drive in Lake Harmony Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival it was reported that a fire was in the chimney. Investigation proved negative, and companies were available shortly thereafter.
Saturday, October 29, 2011 Lake Harmony was busy during the early fall snowstorm. Multiple calls on the interstate and other areas of the township made for a long day at the firehouse.
