FEMA Grant - 2003

On November 14, 2003 the LHVFC was notified that it had been awarded a FEMA assistance grant in the amount of $20,700. These funds were used for the purchase and installation of a Vehicle Exhaust Extraction System. Under the conditions of the grant, FEMA money paid for 90% of the cost of the equipment and LHFD paid for the remaining 10% of the cost out of its own funds. All of the equipment was delivered and installed early in 2004.
