Tractor Trailer Fire
This tractor trailer hauling garbage was destroyed by fire on Interstate 80. Numerous departments were called to assist with tankers. The fire extended into the trailer area and began consuming the bales of trash. Foam was used to finally extinguish the fire. A heavy-duty tow truck was called to respond to remove the contents of the trailer so that it could be extinguished. This was a prolonged incident as I-80 was closed due to the trash being separated and extinguished after being removed from the vehicle.
