• December 1,2007, On route 80 277 east bound off ramp, Reported tractor trailer on fire, Fire was in the rear wheel brakes of the trailer,used Water to cool same. The driver elected to continue on his journey. All units were recalled.
• December 2,2007 On rout 80, 279 west bound, A vehicle crashed into a tree.Female driver(older women) reported this to be her 2nd crash within 1hr. The driver also thought she was traveling east bound all units were recalled.
• December 4,2007 At the Ramada inn on rout 940, Reported fire alarm sounding, We were recalled by 1801 and 1702 on location.
• December 5,2007, At the Ramada inn on route 940, Reported fire alarm sounding, There was a malfunction, Maintenance put system back on line.
• December 5,2007, At the Ramada inn on route 940, Reported fire alarm sounding, due to a previous alarm 1701 responded in his POV. Upon arrival found maintenance working on the system, 1701 notified management that Kidder township would be notified in regards to false alarm ordinance.
• December 6,2007, 121 Milton way (TT), Reported smoke in the dwelling.Investigation, found a space heater over-heating. all units were recalled by 1207.
• December 6,2007 On the pa turnpike mile marker 88.5 north bound, Reported to be a one car crash, We were put on standby by PA state police, We were later recalled by PSP there was no crash.
• December 7,2007, On route 80 mile marker 275 east bound, There was a one vehicle roll-over. The driver self-extricated and was treated on scene by JASON STERANKO (LHRS).
• December 8,2007, Route 940 near High Elevations, Fire police were requested to assist with traffic, Recalled while en-route.
• December 9,2007, 53 Kent Clark RD, Reported fire alarm sounding, We requested the key from century 21, We made entrance with the key all appeared in order.
• December 13,2007, Route 903 near county line, Reported one vehicle crash with entrapment. 1102 on scene reported no entrapment, Driver was uninjured, Passenger was transported to Geisenger by LHRS.
• December 16,2007, 131 Henning rd Holiday Pocono, Reported working vehicle fire endangering the residence, Dist 16 used a 1-1 3/4 inch line to extinguish the fire, Posable electrical fire in motor.
• December 16,2007, Route 80 274 east bound, Fire police were called on scene by PA state police to reroute traffic due to wires down across route 80.
• December 22.2007, Jack frost ski area main loge, Reported fire alarm sounding, investigation found alarm in medical room. All appeared in order, All units were recalled.
• December 23,2007, 180 south lake drive, Requested by Kidder P.D to open inlet do to water flooding the roadway.
• December 24,2007, Jack frost ski area, Request to stand by for a med-evac landing. We were cancelled before leaving station, There was no flight.
• December 25,2007, At Big Boulder ski area there was a med-evac landing, patient was taken to Lehigh Valley.
• December 26,2007, On Route 940 and Moseywood Rd. there was a two vehicle accident, Vehicle #1 attempted left turn in front of vehicle #2 both drivers self extricated.
• December 26,2007, At Jack Frost ski area, There was a med-evac landing for a ski patient.

• December 26,2007, On route 903 and Lake DR, There was a three vehicle accident, Vehicle #1 crossed in front of vehicle #2 vehicle #2 struck vehicle #1 causing vehicle 1 to roll onto its roof and into vehicle #3.
• December 27,2007, On Moseywood RD and Willowbeook Way, There was a one vehicle accident, Vehicle went into the woods.
• December 28,2007, Willowbrook bldg 1, Reported fire alarm ,upon investigation all appeared in order.
• December 29, 2007, Split Rock Country Club -Fire alarm-water alarm set off .There was an investigation that led to electrical box #24 in the utility room. Water was coming in from outside. Possible short in the system. Key holder silenced the alarm.All units available. A knox box was suggested to the key holder to be installed to prevent future delays in entering building.
• December29,2007 Stand by for Med-evac landing @ station. (Cancelled.)
• December 30,2007 Responded to Jack Frost Ski Area to etablish L-Z. (Non-emergency) Recalled due to helicopter grounded.(Bad weather.)NO FLIGHT.

NOVEMBER CALLS

• November 7, 2007 Dwelling fire reported at 86 Buckhill Road in Indian Mountain Lakes - ordered held in station - recalled when fire reported under control.
• November 8, 2007 Dwelling fire at 101 Penn Oak in Penn Forest Streams - fire found to be a controlled burn - recalled while en route.
• November 10, 2007 Dwelling fire reported by phone from 3 Sassafrass Road in Split Rock - house filled with smoke when fireplace was lit with flue closed - helped clear smoke - no other problems on arrival.
• November 11, 2007 Vehicle accident at mile marker 88.5 North on PA Turnpike - one vehicle crash - driver self extricated - recalled while en route.
• November 12, 2007 Dwelling fire at 290 Brittany Drive in Valley View Estates - reported dwelling fire - fire actually in dryer on second floor - extinguished fire and used ejector to remove smoke.
• November 17 2007, Request for a med-vac landing at Big boulder, Due to bad weather the helicopter was unable to fly to this location, The landing zone was moved to DIST 12.
• November 17 2007, ON 204 Laurel lane Pocono Mountain Lakes, Reported smoke coming from behind the fire place, Smoke was also in the crawl space, We opened the wall near the fire place and used a 1 3/4 hose to extinguish the fire in the crawl space.
• November 18 2007, On the PA turn pike at mile marker 88.5 there was a report of a one vehicle crash, we were recalled, there was no injuries.
• November 19,2007, Hickory run state park, Request from 1601 for ATV (1772)to assist with removing an injured hunter from wooded area of park. We were recalled by 1601.
• November 21,2007, One vehicle crash with one injury, we were recalled by PSP.
• November 24,2007, On rout 940 & rout 80 mile marker 277 exit ramp, There was a 3 vehicle crash at the 940 light, we were recalled while en-route by 1883. Later request for fire police from 17&18.
• November 25,2007, On the PA turnpike- Pocono exit ramp, There was a one vehicle crash, with air bags deployed, there was no injuries. We where recalled.
• November 25,2007, On rout 534 near the park office, There was a one vehicle crash with fluids down. 1801 cancelled 17's fire units, Fire police were to continue in.
• November 28,2007, At 1 Lake DR the Galleria, Reported fire in the fireplace and chimney, flames where landing on the roof. We extinguished the fire and sent a crew to the roof to check for extension. We removed all burning logs and embers from the fire box, We checked all floors for any extension.
• November 29,2007, At the Ramada Inn on rout 940, there was a report of a general fire alarm sounding, Faulty detector found on 2nd floor. We reset the alarm and all appeared in good order.
