LHVFD Motor Vehicle Accidents

This was a 1 of 2 vehicles involved in a collision on SR940. This vehicle impacted a large tree and the driver was confined to the vehicle. The roof was subsequently flapped and the driver's door removed. The driver was removed and flown by helicopter to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. The driver did survive the incident.

1 of 2 vehicles involved in a head-on collision. Both vehicles were mini-vans and the driver of this van was pronounced dead at the scene.

Second involved mini-van. The diver was extricated from the vehicle and flown to trauma center, where he subsequently died during surgery.

Multi-vehicle accident on SR940. Driver of station wagon was confined to the vehicle. The driver & rear door had to be forced with hydraulic tools. The driver was flown to hospital for treatment.

Multi-vehicle accident on SR940. Driver of station wagon was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated from the vehicle. The victim was flown to a trauma center and later died as a result of the injuries.
